Nursery is often a child’s first experience of spending time away from immediate family, so our first focus is to create an environment that is happy, warm and safe, ensuring children are emotionally supported with outstanding pastoral care. We use an online platform called ‘ILLUMINE’, where Teachers upload photos, videos and important information regularly to maintain transparent and clear communication lines.
Safeguarding
Leaving your child at a new nursery is a big deal. We’re parents ourselves so we understand how it feels. Rest assured; the child’s welfare comes first with us. Our safeguarding policies and procedures have been developed with approved, independent specialists and are used across all of our nurseries
Transition to school
At The Little Learners Nursery, we believe in fostering skills, aptitudes and attitudes to ensure children have a healthy and positive approach to life-long learning. Transition to school is an exciting time of our children, staff and parents alike.
Key person
Every child who attends our settings is assigned a key carer to act as a bridge for the child between their home and the setting. The key carer will get to know the child well, become attuned to their likes and dislikes, attitudes and preferences, and will provide the child with particular support at key times.
Transparent Fee structure
Being confident of your nursery fees and understanding how they are made up and what you will be paying is key to many of our parents. We know parents need to control monthly budgets and that you need a clear picture of the coming year. By providing clearly laid-out Fees we aim to make this part of your nursery journey as transparent as possible
